Tommy Van Duston, age 58, of Tulsa, formerly of  Oklahoma City, passed away unexpectedly November 6, 1999. He was born July 22, 1941 in Oklahoma City to Sarah N. Duston and the late Don R. Duston, Sr. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and was the owner of the former Delta Flooring Company of Oklahoma City for many years. He was currently employed by Pro Source Floor Coverings in Tulsa, OK. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and son. He had a passion for fishing, boating, and flying. His unique humor and wisdom will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his father, Don, Sr. and his aunt, Jesse Menard. He is survived by his mother; daughters, Tracy Van Duston Schwartz and husband, Mark, Washington, DC and Theresa Bleecker and husband, James of OKC; grandsons, Duston and Ryan Bleecker; and brothers, John J. Duston of Memphis, TN, Don R. Duston, Jr., and Duke Duston. of OKC. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Guide Dog Foundation, 371 East Jericho Turnpike, Smithtown, NY or the American Heart Association. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 1999 at Smith & Kernke Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
