Ronnie Jeter passed away some years ago; I believe it was around 2001. He moved to Ridgecrest, Ca many years ago to be with his brother, Eddie Jeter. Ronnie loved Harley motorcycles and had a pretty bad ass Harley himself… he had all the Harley paraphernalia that went with it, jackets, Du Rags, chrome helmet.

After High School Ronnie served in the United States Navy aboard an Aircraft Carrier stationed on the East Coast.

He had married and divorced leaving behind one son that I am sure of and perhaps a daughter also. I believe he worked for the Welfare Department in Ca.

Ronnie was living alone and came down with the flu, he was too sick to make it to the hospital himself, by the time his brother checked on him and got him to the hospital he had developed pneumonia which took his life a few days later.

I was close to Ronnie and his brother Eddie, perhaps more so to Eddie, but I still loved Ronnie. Ronnie and I ran around some after I finished my time in the Navy. The three of us would quite frequently hunt rabbits together out the NW Hwy just past Meridian.

My remembrances of the facts are subject to debate please excuse any errors.
