Cathy Wallace Nichols     August 21, 1942 - April 25, 2013

Displaying her trademark style, grace and courage Cathy Nichols, Tulsa, OK, passed away April 25 following a short illness. Born in Eagle Lake, TX, to William Robert Wallce, Jr. and Elizabeth "Libby' Laughlin Kalmor, Cathy frew up in Oklahoma City. (She attended Harding High, but graduated from Casady. Ed.) Cathy attended the University of Colorado, Boulder, until she met the love of her life, Mike, and they began their grand adventure that was 52 years strong! She was a Jeoprdy fan and seldom if ever did questions go unanswered. Cathy was a fabulous cook, playe4d a competitive game of golf, always won at scrabble, a game of bridge or fin and never missed a Sunday New York Times crossword. In 1983 Cathy and family moved to Colorado Springs for several years before returning to the Sooner State and settling in Tulsa with their dogss, Rowdy, Lucky and Nic. Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Bob Wallace; her mother, Libby Kalmonand her stepfather, Dr. Edmond H. Kalmon, Jr. Survivors include her husband, Michael Nichols, Tulsa, OK; three daughters, Erin Nichols Biggers, Denver, CO; Blak4e Spivak, Austin, TX; and Paige Nichols, Tulsa.
