Dick (Dickie) Martin lived up the street from me and his mother was an attorney (quite an accomplishment in the 50's) ... we'd walk home from school together sometimes and he went with us on a Young Life Summer Camp in Colorado where he helped me finish a small mountain climb after being hit by a rock ... he was a pretty cool guy and I'm glad he stayed behind a year to finish with us but it was such a sorrow that just weeks after gradutation, he was gone... I think he had a gentle soul.
