When my great-aunt died in the 70's, my mother and I went to see Bob about her estate ... it was a dubious affair and Bob was very helpful. It was a year before the bombing and his office was just a couple of blocks away. I also knew Bob at Kappa Sig parties at OU and enjoyed visiting with him at the reunions. I hope his life was joyful and satisfying. Go with God ...

Bob was a special person with a special gift of always being inclusive of all he met. Over the years when we were at any gathering or event he would look me up and want an update on my family and reflect on our Harding High days. One of my great Harding experiences was when he took me for a ride on his yellow Mustang cycle!
A life well lived  Rest In Peace,

Chuck Nelson

I am sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was always an enthusiastic contributor in whatever he was invovled in at Harding: in class, student government, and sports. He obviously continued that beyond high school. I am glad to see his achievements were appreciated and recognized by others.

Bob was my nemesis in physics class, but apparently grew up into the fantastic guy we know. I recall that my father had a triple bypass in the 80s and I came up from Dallas to be with him and my mother.  I called Bob to find out how he was doing, and bless his heart, he came over to the hospital and we visited. That meant so much to me.  It is hard to believe we will have a Reunion without his presence.  Maybe we can all tell some Bob stories!

As it turned out I was in Norman on the day of the funeral with Jan Hoyt Dameron celebrating DG Founders Day. We decided to try to get to the graveside services as we would not available until after 1PM. We actually made the church at 2:30. Even though it was over we got to speak to Bobbie and express our sympathies. We did go to the graveside services. The gravestone had the name "Moore" engraved, but what was so cool was that it was the logo for Moore Cycles!!

RIP Bob with your brother John.

It's really hard to imagine our reunion without Bob Moore.  He was such a "force".  This is such sad news about his passing. My heart goes out to his wife, family, and friends. I guess we'll have to get use to losing classmates at our age ..... but I really can't get use to it.

Bill and I will attend the 2020 reunion, and we are looking forward to seeing former classmates.  I do have one request: Everyone, please attend the regular scheduled events.  Please do not have your own private party with your close friends during the scheduled events. I was so disappointed when a group left the gathering in Phil's backyard a few years ago for their own private dinner.  There were people in that group with whom I would loved to have visited, but they were wisked away!
