I remember going over to “Jody’s” house several times in high school where she tried to teach me how to dance (with limited success). Beverly and I had known each other from grade school on.  We went to both of the two high school proms together and saw each other at the school reunions.   "Jody" was always fun to be with and liked by just about everyone.  We were able to reconnect and see each other for a few brief times before she remarried.   We even went to see Preacher Smith who was still performing in a local night club.   She was the same girl I had known and always loved.  The world and my heart are lesser places without her.
