Perry resident, Henrietta Marie Kamp was born September 26, 1942 to Alfred and Dora (Malzahn) Kamp. She departed this life on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Green Valley Nursing Home at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 21 days. She graduated from Harding High School in Oklahoma City and continued her education at OSU where she received her Bachelor's degree from OSU. Henrietta then went on to help our young children by working at Perry Head Start and New Hope Schools. She later then went to work for Walmart and retired after 17 years. She enjoyed and attended the Solid Rock Church in Stillwater. Henrietta loved sewing and baking cakes. Henrietta is survived by three sons: Chris Kamp of Perry, Kent Kamp and wife Christina of Muskogee and Jason Kamp of Perry; two sisters: Jo Anna Bates of Denton, TX and Carolyn Roblyer of Pearland, TX; one granddaughter, Kyla Kamp. A Memorial services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Solid Rock Church, Stillwater, OK with Pastor Dan Yankunas officiating. The care of the family is under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home in Perry, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and James D. Easton, who was the father of her children.
