I was a librarian with RPL for 35 years. One morning in '02 I woke up and decided that I wasn't enjoying the job any longer, so I retired! The scenario was a bit more complex than I describe here but I have no regrests. Luckilly, I was and am financially secure.
Since 2002 I moved to a more spacious and beautiful home on Monument Ave. I especially enjoy the abundant closets and the large brick and flagstone patio. "Tango" shares the house with me - he's a very lively S.P.C.A. cat who provides lots of company.
In '05 I had to have an aortic heart valve replacement. It was a trauma but the outcome was good. I hope to be in good health for many years; but isn't that what we all would like?
Favorite travels since '02 have been: Bartlesville (for OK Mozart), Spain, Argentina, Mexico (Guadalajara), Cleveland, OH, Tucson, New Orleans and OKC ( to stay at the re-done Skinvin - beautiful!)
Pastimes are: walking the neighborhood, listening to classical music, jazz and Opera (some), cruising the antique malls her and taking Spanish. I have been in 5 classes, plus the two hears I had at Harding with Mrs. Graham and Mr. Webster - they started it!
