Jackie M. Bales, 51, died on
Wednesday, December 8, 1993 in Oklahoma City. She was born in Clinton, Ok. on September 27, 1942 and at an early age moved to Oklahoma City, where she lived most of her life. She graduated from Harding High School in 1960 as Outstanding Business Student. Jackie graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1964 with a BA degree in Accounting, Banning Scholar, Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, Dean's Honor Roll, and a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. During her business career, she worked for Oklahoma City Clinic, Shell Oil Co. and the Kerr family for many years. She was most recently employed by REMAX Realtors as office manager and had recently earned her sales associate license. Jackie was very proud to have joined the Church of the Servant on December 5, 1993. Survivors include her mother, Bea Bales; brother, Dan Bales and his wife, Lezlie; nephews, Clint Bales and Mitch Bales. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Bales. Jackie's outgoing personality and love for her family and many friends gave joy to all who knew her. The family wishes to express its thanks to all the many friends as well as the doctors and nurses for their support and care during the past few days at Baptist Hospital. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Church of the Servant Music Ministries Fund. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 11, 1993, 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Servant.

Linda Sue Hollingsworth (Robbins)

I was sorry to hear about the passing of Jackie Bales. I remember her from Harding and at Oklahoma City University. She was always a sincere, outgoing person and fun to be around. Linda Robbins, 1957-1958 Harding HS and 1960-1964 OCU Graduate.
