Jan Gill LOVED Harding ... we lived a few blocks apart and after Harding pledged Tri Delt at OU together and then reconnected in the early 80's and she was still talking about all those grand ole days. Her sister still lived in OKC and kept her up-to-date (we lived in Dallas). Jan introduced me to chili cookoffs (and my last husband) and she had the good sense to marry Steve Frisch who adored her ... they had a B&B in Palestine, TX for awhile and traveled in the cookoff competitions, finally settling down in McKinney, TX. Jan joined every fun club she could and lived at high speed and Steve gave her a grand party before her final decline from cancer. She was one of a kind and left two beautiful daughters and grandchildren to carry on her memories.
