Barbara (Bobbie) Johnson Lindsey was born May 17, 1942 in Bronxville, New York to Vincent and Jeanne Johnson, who are deceased. She passed away October 1, 2007 after a life full of many blessings, including her God, family, friends, nursing career, and many hobbies. She is survived by her "precious angels", her husband, Jim Lindsey; son Tim, his wife Kim and children, Colton and Rose; her daughter, Allison Kidney, husband Spence and children, Kyler and Haley. She is also survived by her sister, Patty Casteel and her husband, Len.  Bobbie worked at Baptist Hospital and then in the ER at Edmond Hospital for twenty years, but her favorite and most recent work was as a hospice nurse. Bobbie helped her husband in the family glass business, Central Glass Mirror, as office manager. Then she started a new business selling her own creation, Western Style Christmas Stockings. She treasured her friends and the family wishes to thank all who shared their love with her. A celebration of her life will be held Wed., October 3, 2007, at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Cathedral, 127 NW 7th St., Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Paul's Cathedral or a charity of your choice.

Bobbie and I grew up together, living in the same housing addition. Her mom, Jean, was a good friend of my parents. We used to ride our bikes on the streets behind my house for hours until it got dark. We became young women together and flirted with boys over the phone . She was so much fun. She had a younger sister, Patti who would hang out with us. I miss that she's not in the world.
