What have I been doing since graduation?
Friday afternoons I would watch out the window of Mr. Thompson's class, waiting to see if the blue 1958 Chevy convertible had arrived. Yes sir,soon I would see my beloved Bo Holmboe coming to pick me up. He was a sophomore at OU.
We had made a match and neither one was much interested in school, but most interested in one another. Well by the summer of my freshman year at OU we had married and within nine sweet years we had a son and three daughters. Andy who is now 47 and has worked with Jim for 30 years, has daughters, 27 and 6. Camie, 44, lives in Erie, CO, and has boys 17 and 15. Laura is 41 and lives in Holly, Michigan. DiAnn, 38, has girls 11 and 9. And our late bonus baby Carlie, 24, graduated from CU in May this year. Although I never obtained the formal sheepskin I have not stopped educating myself through the years. Classes ranging from undrestanding Greek at Oklahoma Christian College to Photoshop and creative writing at Francis Tuttle have given me much pleasure. I love to play the fiddle and read books by Witness Lee and Watchman Nee.
Having married my best friend I say sincerely that we are gowing together in Christ and closer now than ever before.
