Lynn won the Reunion Lottery by reconnecting with Jim, loving again, marriage for 36 years! May she rest in the Chuch Triumphant, and may we all comfort Jim at this Reunion. Fabulous person!
Lynn and I had a dangerous and funny experience together. Lynn was driving an old jeep jalopy, and I was driving my parents Pontiac Catalina. I passed her, and as I was passing, we tried to talk to each other through our open windows. We ran our cars into each other. That behavior was difficult to explain to my parents when I arrived home. Neither Lynn nor I were hurt, but my parents car was smashed in on the side closest to Lynn's jeep. Lynn's jeep sustained no damage. It was already a wreck moving on four wheels.
I did not know Lynn but I knew of her many accomplishments at Harding and at previous reunion events. Fortunately, my wife and i were destined to meet and wait and ride down and elevator together with Jim and Lynn at some previous reunion where we happened to being staying at the same place. All that I remember was laughing the whole time, riding down the elevator. We went our separate ways at the main floor; however, the ride down together set the tone for me and my wife to really enjoy the rest of the envening. Thanks Lynn for being an instantaneous friend.
I am so sorry to hear about Lynn as I have had her on my mind recently wondering how she was doing. Lynn was a very dear friend of mine always, and I admired her beautiful, courageous spirit throughout her life. She was such a talented artist and was always so much fun. Jim and Lynn were such a blessing for each other.

We have lost more than our class leader. We have lost a kind, funny, talented, loving friend.

A wonderful person whom I'll never forget. I see her in a poodle skirt at a reunion some time ago... Brings back smiles.

A dear dear wonderful friend. I got to go camping with her family one summer and had so much fun.
